We have learned that Matthew Izzo, 31, died after a car pulled in front of his motorcycle. Police say that a Ford Fusion made a left hand turn when exiting south from a service road off of Sepulveda Boulevard. That put the vehicle into the path of Izzo, who was traveling west.
The driver of the Fusion, a 21-year-old Torrance woman was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Police say that drugs or alcohol do not appear to be a factor in this crash.
Izzo was an employee at Rizzo’s Pizza, a place where he had worked since he was a teenager.
